ABOUT THE RAMBLER BAG

Design by Karen Pratt of @creamcraftgoods, the Rambler Bag is a fun and enjoyable bag to make. The design is a simple shape that uses a main piece construction (no separate inner bag) with sides constructed and attached to the main piece to create the messenger-style body. We recommend using fusible foam for the body and sides to give the bag a nice structure and make it sturdy, yet light to carry. Not forgetting the need for storage, we've added inner pockets to the main body construction too. The bag has two handle points - a top handle and a removable, adjustable strap, so you have multiple ways to carry the bag. The finished size is perfect for your everyday carry items and a book or two. Once you make this bag, you will definitely want to make more!

The sew along will run from January 11- 31, 2026.

What do I need to participate in the sew along?

Make sure to grab a copy of The Rambler Bag, which includes the pattern and hardware. You’ll also want to pick out your fabric. We’ll be sewing with Moda Fabrics.
